Event Production, Direction, and Management
We’ve produced, directed, managed, created, and participated in dozens of venues,
for audiences from 50 to 25,000 people. As you’ll see from the list below, we come from a fire service
background. But be it fire service or corporate events, the core AMG operating principles, hard work, and
goals remain the same: We’re customer-driven. We’re detailed planners, we utilize our resources creatively
and effectively, and we know how to implement proven event management systems. We’re sensitive to your needs,
and we support the tone, tenor, and goals of your event. From logistics to operations to safety and beyond,
we leave no stone unturned in our quest for excellence and happy customers.
Coming from a fire service background gives us a leg up, in several ways. First, we’re practiced in the art of
the incident command system used for managing emergency incidents both large and small, and we’ve employed that
concept in our event management strategies. Second, it’s given us the opportunity to develop and refine our
skills across a wide spectrum of educational and motivational formats—from full-scale, realistic hands-on
training involving 1,500 participants to smaller interactive learning platforms to full-blown, stadium-sized
inspirational programs. Third, having created and produced the premier event in the fire industry, our audience
demands and expectations were high—and we met them.
And along with that experience, we have a large network of creative production companies, audio-visual specialists,
instructors, and motivational speakers.
The Anderson Media Group principals have created, managed, and produced:
- The National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service, MCI Arena, Washington D.C., October 2002, broadcast on
C-SPAN, with a live audience of 10,000 family members and firefighters from across the United States. The ceremony
included full-scale audio-visual production and nationally recognized dignitaries and speakers.
- National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service weekend, National Emergency Training Center, Emmitsburg,
Maryland, for 6,000 survivors and firefighters from across the United States, 2001-present.
- The development and delivery of educational programs for the annual Fire Department Instructors Conference
(FDIC), the largest fire training conference in the world, 1997-2004, Indianapolis, (IN). We’ve trained, educated,
and motivated more than 50,000 firefighter attendees.
- The startup launches of regional Fire Department Instructors Conference educational programs in Sacramento,
CA (2000-2003), Atlantic City, NJ (2004), and Los Angeles, CA, 2005.
- FDIC 9/11 fallen firefighter tribute service, featuring the Butler University Orchestra and Choir performing
Mozart’s Requiem.
- The first Ray Downey Courage and Valor Foundation dinner/fundraiser, 2002.
- FDIC Firefighter Tribute/Opening Ceremony, 1997-2005: With an audience of 3,500, this is one of the fire
service’s “main events.” It’s a full production, utilizing with multiple cameras and video screens, with creative
sets, inspirational scripts, top-level speakers, and the pomp-and-circumstance formality befitting a tribute to
our fallen heroes.
- House of Representatives Subcommittee on Terrorism hearing, 1998.
- Wildfire Summit, 2003, 2004.
- New Jersey Society of Fire Instructors programs.
- Team Rescue ’93 Conference, Virginia Beach, 1993.
We educate, motivate, and inspire using traditional and non-traditional means to deliver first-class programs.
We’ve got the chops!
